Bungendore sits amongst rolling hills, a gem of a village in a rural setting. The parks and grounds are lovingly looked after and retain an Old World charm, featuring traditional Victorian-style gardens mixed with herbs and traditional English and, Australian flora and fauna. The main part of town features galleries that offer a variety of locally made products - including leather goods, paintings, carved wood items and many more. The cafes are very pleasant with indoor and outdoor facilities available.

Bywong is an historic gold mining town that give the whole family a taste of old world in all its forms. This historic village lets people experience an authentic recreation area of a 1890's village.
